Marlins vs. Mets game postponed

Thanks for joining us for Sunday’s Marlins (10-29) vs. Mets (19-20) game thread. There is no game, unfortunately: Mother Nature had other plans on Mother’s Day. Instead, these teams will play a single-admission doubleheader on Monday, Aug. 5 with the first game beginning at 4:10 p.m.

The weekend wasn’t a total waste for scheduled starter Caleb Smith, who spent Friday at the MLB Network studios in New Jersey to reflect on his excellent season thus far.
