Today at 1:10 PM EST, the Marlins will visit First Data Field in Port St. Lucie, FL to take on their in-division rivals, the New York Mets.
This is the first time that Miami has faced the Mets this spring, and the 2-0 Marlins hope to extend their spring training-opening win-streak against the 1-1 club from the Big Apple. Unfortunately, for the Marlins thus far, these wins don’t count in the standings. They do, however count for the guys trying to squeeze their way onto Miami’s opening day roster.
RHP Tyler Cloyd will get the start on the bump for the Marlins.
