An off-field prank gone wrong has lead to an injury to one of the Miami Marlins’ top four prospects in the minor leagues.
According to the Sun Sentinel, Marlins top prospect and the team’s No. 1 draft choice in 2015, Josh Naylor, injured his teammate and roommate Stone Garrett at their apartment in Greensboro, N.C.
Marlins president of baseball operations, Michael Hill, confirmed the incident and told the Sun Sentinel that Garrett received three stitches to his right hand and is being flown to Miami to have the hand evaluated by a hand specialist.
