The news that Tim Wallach won’t return to the Marlins as the team’s bench coach is not the only news coming out of South Florida in regard to coaching changes. The team’s staff will have a decidedly different look for the 2020 season.
“MLB.com has learned catching coach Brian Schneider and bullpen coach Dean Treanor will not be part of the 2020 staff,” Joe Frisaro wrote.
“The Marlins have not confirmed any staff changes.”
The changes should not come as any surprise as the front office will continue to find the right fit with its personnel as well as the 25-man roster to produce an improved product on the field in 2020.
