The Marlins have been in an awful decline this past week. Last nights victory was a big first step out of that slump. The Marlins had a strong win in their hands that they let slip away a bit. At one point they were up 7-1 before the Mets started to fight back. Luckily for the Fish Sergio Romo was able to get the 2-inning save.
Trevor Richards pitched ok against the Mets at home. He ran into trouble two times during his start. He would be able to get out of the first problem, but the second one would knock him out of the game.
