The minor league season is over, but for many Miami Marlins prospects, it just means they will continue to hone their skills in the team’s instructional league.
Per Joe Frisaro of MLB.com, “Each September and early October, the Marlins invite about 40 prospects to get additional instruction at their Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium complex in Jupiter, Fla. They work with invited coaching staff and managers, and eventually play games, often with organizations that also have their Spring Training facilities close to Jupiter.”
That means rising players Monte Harrison, Jazz Chisholm, Jesus Sanchez, and Lewin Diaz will work on their hitting and fielding ahead of the team preparing for Spring Training in February.
