He’s still young and growing, but Miami Marlins top everyday prospect Victor Victor Mesa is starting to turn heads with the team’s Advanced Class-A team in Jupiter. There may be a year or so before Mesa has a chance to compete for a role with the parent club, but that does not mean the 22-year-old isn’t making an impact in Florida with his first stint in minor league baseball.
“Victor Victor Mesa still has a lot of room to grow, but he is showing his potential in spurts,” writes Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald.
