Austin Brice has been praised for his work in relief of late for the Miami Marlins. His performance has been so good, he has been the subject of potential trade talk as the MLB Trade Deadline approaches. Unfortunately, an injury will sideline him for a short period of time.
The Marlins have announced that Brice was placed on the 10-day I.L. for a right forearm flexor strain. The move was made retroactive to Sunday.
The news isn’t all bad as Tayron Guerrero has returned from injury to take his spot in the bullpen, giving the Marlins a hard-throwing reliever who can help continue the progression of the staff.
