Per the team’s website four Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp players have been named to the Southern League All-Star game which will be held in Biloxi, MS June 18. Outfielder Brian Miller, infielder Justin Twine, and right-handed pitchers Robert Dugger and Cody Poteet will represent Jacksonville as South Division All-Stars. Jacksonville is the Miami Marlins Double-A affiliate.
Miller, the organization’s No. 14 prospect is part of a speedy trio in the outfield. This is not the first time he has received recognition for his efforts in the minor league system.
