The Miami Marlins once again may be dealing with another injury to the organization’s third baseman. Per Joe Frisaro of MLB.com, “[Miguel] Rojas was removed in the second inning of the Marlins’ 6-1 loss in Game 2 against the Braves with a left ankle contusion.”
Rojas suffered the injury while trying to advance from first to third base on a Bryan Holaday single. The veteran was thrown out by left fielder Ronald Acuna Jr.
Rojas entered the first game of the doubleheader to replace Martin Prado who suffered a quad injury in Game 1.
