Marlins Man was front and center at Yankee Stadium — Derek Jeter jersey and all | Miami Herald

A familiar face was on hand at Yankee Stadium, right behind home plate, to watch the Marlins' 12-1 loss to the New York Yankees on Monday night — none other than the former Marlins Man himself.

Laurence Leavy, a South Florida attorney known for being right in the middle of the action, caught the up-close-and-personal view of the team he formerly supported drop to 4-12 on the season while the Yankees battered Miami pitching to the tune of 15 hits and three home runs.

His outfit of choice: A custom-made bright orange Derek Jeter Marlins jersey, which came off as a not-so-subtle jab at the new Marlins CEO and co-owner.
