The Marlins lost their fifth game in a row last night. Sandy Alcántara did not have a good game. The Mets kept him busy all night with their bats. The Fish also struggled to put up much support against Jacob deGrom.

The Fish were ineffective against deGrom last night. deGrom has been going through some rough patches recently, but was brilliant in this outing. He punched out eight hitters while working with ease for most of the game.
