Jose Ureña’s start was cut short when he allowed five runs in the fourth inning, but the Fish stormed back with an eight-run fifth-inning that began with Cameron Maybin’s second home run of the season. NL ROY candidate Brian Anderson aka The Process Daddy drove in three runs with his eighth home run, Miguel Rojas and Justin Bour each hit a two-run single. The Marlins added two more runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to secure the W, 10-5.
