- Another setback for Rule 5 Draft pick RHP Riley Ferrell. After two months on the IL with biceps tendinitis, he’s been removed from rehab due to mild lat soreness, according to Marlins president of baseball operations Michael Hill. Ferrell had made four relief appearances between Double-A Jacksonville and Triple-A New Orleans in recent weeks. He will need to join the Marlins active roster by July 2 to accumulate 90 regular season days with his new organization.
