Marlins fail to stop Mets, fall 4-2

The Marlins should have expected Monday night’s matchup against the Mets to not be a cakewalk, especially considering New York was on a five-game win streak heading into the game.

However, the Fish were able to keep the game relatively close for the most part going up against New York’s ace, Noah Syndergaard, but just couldn’t get over that final hump.

On the pitching side of the game, Ureña didn’t give Miami the same type of solid outing he did last time around where he was just about as good as he has been his entire career.
