MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Marlins have a very big week ahead of them.
That may seem strange considering the season is only two weeks old, but that is the case with manager Mike Redmond’s Marlins.
Coming into the season there were high expectations surrounding the ballclub.
They signed Giancarlo Stanton to the biggest contract in pro sports history and followed that up by adding several veteran pieces that were supposedly filling all the needs that the Marlins had after their 2014 campaign.
With many baseball minds picking Miami as a Wild Card team and possible pennant contender, it seemed as though Marlins fans were in store for a fun and exciting season.
