The 26-year old gives the Marlins lefty depth.
Miami traded left-handed Rule 5 draft pick Andrew McKirahan to Atlanta before the start of the season, but the club was able to add additional lefty depth on Saturday. According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Marlins have claimed Matt Tracy from the Yankees.
Tracy, 26, posted a 4.45 ERA in 62.2 innings pitched between Double and Triple-A last season.
The Marlins do not have a notable amount of left-handed relief depth, with Mike Dunn and Brad Hand serving as the club's two left-handed relief options.
