Marlins-Braves postponed due to rain

Wednesday’s game between the Marlins and Braves was postponed due to rain.

It was the first rainout of the season for the Marlins.

The makeup will be played Aug. 13 in Atlanta as part of a split doubleheader, with the first game scheduled for 1:35 p.m. and the second for 7:35 p.m.

Manager Don Mattingly said Pablo Lopez, who was scheduled to start Wednesday, will now go Thursday in Philadelphia. Everyone else in the rotation will be pushed back one day.
