Sandy Alcantara was named the Miami Marlins player on a list by MLB.com’s Jonathan Mayo and Jim Callis and Mike Rosenbaum as the player we all should know about when teams expand their rosters next week.
“Starting on the first day of the month, all 30 teams can expand their rosters at the big league level, adding as many players from their 40-man roster as they wish,” the trio wrote.
“For teams out of the race, it can be a great opportunity to give someone an extended audition and first taste of the big leagues.
