Marlins opening day starter Henderson Alvarez has completed his rehab assignment and is currently on his way back.
It looked to be a promising season for Henderson Alvarez. Being named the Marlins opening day starter and becoming the ace of the staff at least until Jose Fernandez returns from Tommy John Surgery. Unfortunately things don't always go as planned and Alvarez landed on the 15 Day Disabled List and is currently beginning his comeback. While his comeback has no time-table currently, the ace pitcher is scheduled to return very soon.
