Major League Baseball is permitting each team to bring up to 75 players to spring training camp this year. As of Wednesday, the Miami Marlins are expecting 72 (not including right-hander Jeff Brigham who’s been placed on the 60-day injured list).
Most of the 32 non-roster invitees had been announced at various points over the last two months. The new (presumably final) wave of players is comprised of prospects: catcher Cameron Barstad, left-handers Jake Eder and Zach King, outfielder Víctor Víctor Mesa and right-hander Cody Poteet.
The Marlins have also provided updated uniform numbers for all players.
