LOS ANGELES (CBSMiami) – Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow held a baseball showcase for more than half the teams in Major League Baseball on Tuesday in Los Angeles.
The event took place at Dedeaux Field, the home field for the USC Trojans.
The Miami Marlins were just one of the 27 teams in attendance to watch the former college and professional football star.
As for Miami’s NL East rivals, only the Washington Nationals did not attend.
The 29-year-old Tebow is hoping to kickstart a dream to play professional baseball that was set aside during his high school days when football became his focal point.
