J.T. Realmuto has worked hard since being drafted in the 3rd round of the 2010 draft by the Marlins. He slowly worked his way up the minor league system impressing enough in his short stint with Miami in 2014 that by the end of April in 2015 the Marlins had enough confidence in him to make him the everyday starting catcher.
He almost broke a fish tank, hit a HR in spots where people thought only former teammate Giancarlo Stanton could hit, carried himself as a leader to the different pitchers and younger players who came to the Marlins while also being dedicated to the community and the fans of Miami.
