Dan Straily made his 2018 Marlins debut yesterday and it was a rough start, but good to see him take the mound without any lingering effects of forearm tightness. Straily pitched four innings, allowing six hits and four runs, while walking four batters. He’ll need to be better to keep pace with the other effective rotation members. Luckily for him, the Marlins offense provided plenty of run support in the 8-4 victory.
ROTY candidate Brian Anderson
Anderson was 3-for-4 in last night’s game and only a triple short of the cycle (the Marlins have never had anyone hit for the cycle).
