Young 'Canes set to debut, an order at running back and more Wednesday notes

Hurricanes quarterback Malik Rosier has played plenty of football over the past year. Granted, it’s been mostly on Miami’s practice field, but come Saturday, that’s expected to change.

Rosier will likely be one of several young Hurricanes making their debuts in Miami’s opener against Bethune-Cookman and that’s added another element of excitement for Rosier and some of his teammates even as they go through the game-week routine.

“All my life, I’ve wanted to be a Hurricane,” Rosier said. “It’s going to be a once in a lifetime feeling that first play you ever play as a Hurricane.
