HOLLYWOOD — Chaminade-Madonna has produced a pair of dominant, Division I running backs in the past several years.
First was Shaun Shivers, who played for Auburn and is currently at Indiana. Next was Thad Franklin, who went from winning titles with the Lions to the Hurricanes.
Next up is Davion Gause. The rising junior has already established himself as one of South Florida’s top running backs, and he could be the next Lions star to end up in the Hurricanes’ backfield.
“I had talked to (Franklin) his freshman year, like what it was (like), how the training is, the schoolwork, stuff like that,” Gause said.
