While on Thursday afternoon his baseball teammates were in Omaha gearing up for their opening game of the College World Series, Malik Rosier stood on a football field in the shadow of Sun Life Stadium and went through drills with dozens of young football players that showed up to learn from the Hurricanes’ during one of Miami’s community outreach events.
It’s been a little bit of a bittersweet week for Rosier, who this spring, set out to become the latest two-sport standout at Miami, juggling the demands of playing both football and baseball for the Hurricanes.
