Miami is the sixth highest-ranked team in the ACC in the CBS Sports rankings. Florida State, Clemson, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Louisville are all ranked ahead of Miami.

Miami is picked to finish fifth in the ACC by the conference media members. The ACC released its preseason poll on Tuesday. Miami plays four of the five ACC teams ranked ahead of them.
