As the Miami Hurricanes locked in 21 recruits on Wednesday during the Early Signing Period, UM coaches and recruiting staff members were already in communication with some of their top targets in the 2022 and 2023 classes, looking to build off the momentum.
Miami, like any other college football program, though, faces unique challenges in recruiting next year’s class and possibly beyond.
Of course, recruitment of this week’s signees over the past nine months presented something completely unforeseen with COVID-19 backing the NCAA into a recruiting dead period, limiting coaches to electronic communication with prospects.
