It’s hard to put much stock into the Miami Hurricanes victory over FCS Savannah State. The Hurricanes matched their highest point total ever and set the school record for margin of victory.
Two previous records were set in a 77-7 victory over Savannah State in 2013. Miami equaled the most points in a game and set the margin of victory in Saturday’s win. Both of those records were set against the Tigers the last time those teams played.
The Tigers lost 52-0 to UAB In their season opener last week and are moving down to Division II in 2019.
