Late on Wednesday night, the Miami Hurricanes added to their 2020 recruiting class when Deerfield Beach (FL) 3-star ATH Xavier Restrepo committed to the Canes.
A shifty and talented athlete who can play slot WR, RB, and return kicks, Restrepo transferred from Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas to Deerfield Beach this offseason. He was a useful and impactful player from multiple positions for Aquinas in the past, and should reprise that role well for Deerfield Beach this upcoming HSFB season.
Restrepo is a local player who wanted to be at Miami, and committed quickly after getting a committable offer from the Canes.
