On Sunday, Miami hosted the inaugural adidas South Florida Shootout 7-on-7 tournament. This tournament is a team event where more than 300 players from local schools got to come to Coral Gables, see the new facilities, and interact with the staff.
Some had hoped that this event would be a recruiting boon for the Canes, and that proved true on Sunday when 3-star RB Travis Homer (Oxbridge Academy, West Palm Beach, FL) committed to The U.
