On Monday night, the Miami Hurricanes got a literal and figurative big boost to the 2018 recruiting class when Jacksonville (FL) Sandalwood 3-star DT Jordan Miller committed to the Canes.
A late-rising player, the 6’4” 330lb Miller was offered by several power 5 teams — Miami, Tennesee, Georgia Tech and Virginia — in recent weeks. Miller just took an official visit to Virginia, but that matters little with his current commitment.
Miami sent 5 coaches to see Miller on Monday night, and that visit resulted in this commitment. Miller will take his official visit to Coral Gables this weekend, which should only strengthen his pledge ahead of National Signing Day.
