On Sunday night during Canes Hoops' game vs Butler in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, Interim Football Coach Larry Scott took to twitter.
The player who committed? Homestead South Dade RB Jawon Hamilton.

Hamilton, who was previously committed to FIU before decommitting a couple of weeks ago, is a talented player who hails from the same school that produced current Canes WR Tyre Brady. Having rushed for nearly 1200 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior, the 5'9" 190lb Hamilton has been a productive player at the HS level and has skills that project well for the collegiate level as well.
