Miami made a move to shore up the defensive line today when 2019 DT Jalar Holley committed to the Canes.
The Buford (GA) native is a player who has emerged recently on the radar for Miami, and has quickly risen up the board. A strong showing at Paradise Camp this weekend validated that, and Miami made moves to get him to commit. Those have obviously paid of with today’s commitment.
At 6’2” 280lbs, Holley has good size for the interior defensive line. He’s maybe a touch shorter than listed, but that’s okay; he’ll still be able to be a solid player despite elite height.
