Miami netted another commitment for the 2020 recruiting class when Ocala (FL) Vanguard OL Antonio Smith gave his pledge to Miami.
Currently unranked by recruiting services, the 6’3” 277lb Smith hails from the same HS where QB N’Kosi Perry had a record-setting prep career. Smith, who holds offers from Colorado State and Troy, was offered by OL coach Butch Barry at junior day and committed shortly after leaving the event.
Smith plays Right Tackle for Vanguard, and could find a home there or at guard at the college level. Smith has a 77.5 inch wingspan per recruiting event measurements, so he has length and decent height for a lineman, as well.
