Each day there’s media access at Miami, we’ll give you a quick, easy-to-digest look (err, read?) at what happened on Greentree with the Hurricanes. Here are a few quick highlights from Wednesday in Coral Gables as the Hurricanes continue preparing for their matchup against South Florida foe FAU.
JOHNSON STILL WITH THE LINEBACKERS
With the Hurricanes losing yet another linebacker for the season in redshirt freshman Jamie Gordinier, Miami continues tweaking how its defense will line up against FAU this week. For the second straight day during the media viewing portion of practice, safety Jaquan Johnson was once again working with the linebackers, lining up Wednesday at the SAM spot ahead of Zach McCloud, who started at that spot against FAMU and was listed on Miami’s depth chart as the starter there earlier this week.
