Miami Hurricanes football coach Mark Richt took a break from his star-studded inaugural recruiting event dubbed Paradise Camp, which saw a who's who of UM alumni and top area recruits show up, to talk to the media about the program.
Among the topics was the right knee injury receiver Lawrence Cager suffered this past week. The sophomore's season ended before it even began due to the injury sustained Thursday during an offseason workout.
"I was hurt by that," Richt said Saturday. "Cager has made so much progress since mat drills to spring ball, and for that to happen to him, is very sad.
