UM's reserves impressive in opener; Berrios, Coley still sidelined

In the days since the Hurricanes dominant showing against Bethune-Cookman on Saturday, Miami coach Al Golden has had plenty of praise for individual players.

But as the Hurricanes shift their attention to Friday’s game at FAU, Golden has also made it a point to note how happy he was with Miami’s ability to finish against the Wildcats, with reserves coming into the game and bringing the same kind of energy the starters showed early, especially on the offensive line.

Could that mean more playing time for some second-string players? Golden, who has always insisted depth charts are constantly in flux for his Hurricanes, wouldn’t rule out that possibility saying there’s still plenty of competition happening in practice.
