Hurricanes coach Al Golden has said – more than once – that he believes the defense Miami will have on the field this season is the deepest and most experienced he’s had in his tenure here.
But after Saturday’s practice, the coach spoke at length about how it’s not just the defensive side of the ball that has the depth he believes the Hurricanes need to be successful.
Instead, that depth extends to the offense, to special teams, and even to a walk-on group of players that have made a significant difference on the practice field throughout the early weeks of camp.
