With Miami’s receiving corps already reeling after the loss of Ahmmon Richards, the group got a bit of a boost Tuesday.
Jeff Thomas, who reportedly hyper-extended his knee in Saturday’s 28-27 comeback win over Florida State, was on the field working with Miami’s receivers during the media viewing portion of practice. He did not appear to be limited in any way during individual drills.
While Thomas, who was hurt when he was pulled down by the facemask on a punt return, did return in the second half of Saturday’s game, he gave the Hurricanes a scare.
