Former University of Miami guard Davon Reed is scheduled to interview with the Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards on Friday at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago, he told the Herald in a video interview:
Reed, who said he is “embracing the underdog role,” already interviewed with several teams at the Portsmouth Invitational a few weeks ago.
He went through measurements and 5-v-5 scrimmages on Thursday. Reed was on a team that included Jaron Blossomgame (Clemson), Tyler Dorsey (Oregon), Derrick Walton, Jr. (Michigan), PJ Dozier (South Carolina), Isaiah Hicks (North Carolina), Frank Jackson (Duke), Semi Ojeleye (SMU), Thomas Welsh (UCLA) and Thomas Bryant (Indiana).
