There’s been no specific hit he can remember, no bone-crushing block or memorable connection with one of his quarterbacks that has driven home the point that he’s not playing high school football anymore.
His new life off the field, though, has been eye-opening for the Hurricanes’ 17-year-old receiver who less than six months ago was wrapping up classes at Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach while college coaches from across the country hoped to sway the four-star prospect from his pledge to Miami.
