The University of Miami continues to make a hard push for five-star point guard Immanuel Quickley of Baltimore, one of the most sought-after prospects in the recruiting class of 2018. He is rated the No. 10 overall recruit in the class by Scout.com and No. 14 by ESPN.
Quickley has narrowed his choices to Kentucky, Kansas, Miami and Maryland, and reiterated in a video interview this week that he plans to visit all four schools and announce his decision sometime around the start of his senior season this fall.
Coaches from all four finalists, including UM assistant coach Jamal Brunt, are in Colorado Springs this week at the Olympic Training Center, where Quickley is participating in the Team USA Under-19 tryouts.
