After arriving at Miami as a mid-year enrollee in January, freshman offensive lineman Navaughn Donaldson wasted little time in becoming an impact player for the Hurricanes.
All through spring workouts and fall camp, coaches and teammates raved about Donaldson’s athleticism, strength and ability to make plays, even as a freshman. He worked his way into the starting rotation and has been the only Miami freshman to start all four games this season.
The right guard’s streak will end Saturday.
The 6-foot-6, 350-pound Donaldson was listed by Miami as one of three starters set to miss Saturday’s game against Georgia Tech with an injury.
