Together, Miami’s men’s and women’s basketball teams have combined for 18 wins, good enough for one of the best starts across the country.
Now, both teams are ranked in both of college basketball’s major polls.
Less than a week after their 66-55 win over the rival Gators, the Hurricanes (8-1) men moved up two spots to No. 15 in the AP Top 25. Miami’s women – who are 10-0 and one of just 14 unbeaten teams left in the nation – debuted in the AP Top 25 on Monday taking the No. 23 spot in the poll.
