The Hurricanes will have a chance to show off this weekend – and Al Golden couldn’t be more excited.
For the first time in his five-year tenure as Miami’s coach, the Hurricanes will host a 7-on-7 football tournament for local high school teams. That means that between the athletes, their coaches, parents, and family and friends that come to watch, more than 2,000 people will have the opportunity to see some of the ongoing improvements the school has made to its athletic facilities in recent years.
“The 7-on-7 in a tremendous opportunity to showcase everything that we’ve done and everything that we’ve built,” Golden said.
