Miami offensive lineman Taylor Gadbois was dismissed from the football team, Hurricanes coach Al Golden announced Thursday.
"Taylor is a bright young man, and we wish him the best in his future academic and athletic endeavors," Golden said in a statement.
A post on Gabdois' Twitter accounted read, “Will always love you Miami this was not my decision but I am no longer a Miami hurricane."
Another post read, "Lots of pain in my heart knowing my dream of graduating a ['Cane] was one semester short."
Gadbois, a 6-foot-8, 320-pound junior, was set to be suspended for the first five games of the upcoming season and caused problems in the locker room, ESPN reported citing an anonymous source.
