2016 has been a roller coaster of a year for University of Miami football fans. From a 4-0 start to a 4 game losing streak, and now a 2 game winning streak in late November, optimism has come sporadically throughout the season.
Depth at pivotal positions has hampered the Hurricanes thus far, and forced fans to look down the road at where help may be coming. One position that embodies Miami’s depth issues is cornerback, where Miami is set to lose 2 starters on an already thin unit this offseason.
Malek Young and Sheldrick Redwine return, but after the departure of Corn Elder and Adrian Colbert, a gaping hole is left at the nickel cornerback position.
