The Miami Hurricanes had three players selected as Associated Press All-Americans, the AP announced on Monday.
Highlighted by kicker Jose Borregales being named to the AP All-American First Team, punter Lou Hedley and defensive end Jaelan Phillips were chosen for the second team.
In front of Phillips, Pittsburgh’s Rashad Weaver and Coastal Carolina’s Tarron Jackson were selected to the first team. Georgia Tech’s Pressley Harvin III received first team honors over Hedley.
